SuperSport Defender Jets Out After Landing Portuguese Deal
Katlego Mohamme Has Joined Sertanense On Loan From SuperSport United
SuperSport United teenager, Katlego Mohamme, has arrived in Europe to get his Portuguese career underway after signing for Sertanense on loan.
The 19-year-old, who has played for South Africa at U17 and U20 level, jetted out for a trial in May alongside Riyaaz Ismail and Khanyisa Mayo and it has now been confirmed that they liked him enough to bring him on board.
As reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, Mohamme arrived in Portugal last week and is now preparing for the new season in Portugal’s third tier.
With the player preparing to spend the season on loan with Sertanense, his agent, John Wilson, believes that it could be the start of something good for the centre back.
Wilson told the Siya crew, “Yeah, I can confirm that he’s joined Sertanense on loan for the season. I’m optimistic that he will do well. If he works hard and things go well, then this could be the start of great things for Katlego.”
