According to English newspaper, the Daily Mirror, Premier League outfit, Southampton, have sounded out FC Twente regarding Kamohelo Mokotjo.
Mokotjo, 23, joined Twente at the start of this campaign following an impressive campaign with PEC Zwolle last season, and has solidified his spot as one of Holland’s best midfielders with his performances so far.
Now, if reports in the UK are anything to go by, Mokotjo could possibly be on the move again should the Saints fail in their attempts to land Tonny Vilhena from Feyenoord.
However, Mokotjo was left out of Bafana Bafana’s African Cup of Nations squad by Shakes Mashaba and has only featured for the national team on two occasions, meaning that it would make it extremely difficult for him to secure a work permit in England.
The Siya crew will follow up on the rumours to investigate whether the move could possibly happen or not.
