FC Twente Sports Director Ted van Leeuwen believes Bafana Bafana midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo is ready for the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga.
Mokotjo has applied his trade in the Netherlands for seven years already, and has played for Feyenoord, SBV Excelsior, PEC Zwolle and FC Twente.
Van Leeuwen was full of high praise for the midfielder and feels that he is now ready to make the next step up in his career.
“On and off the pitch Mokotjo is a solid factor, always relaxed and helping younger players,” Van Leeuwen told Soccer Laduma exclusively.
“He has a fine personality, stable character and a man when it comes to battle. A rising-to-the-occasion-player with a “can-do” spell.
“Kamo plays sober when needed, reads the game well and hardly loses a ball. If Mokotjo is able to continue his present shape, no doubt he is ready for the next level.
“With the next level I mean German Bundesliga, Premier League or Primera Division.”
The 24-year-old has only managed to score three goals in his professional career out in the Netherlands, but has assisted in 12 more goals.
