Cardiff’s KG On Comeback Trail

Cardiff City’s South African midfielder, Kagisho Dikgacoi, has started running again as he looks to make a recovery from a long-term hamstring injury.

"KG", who signed for Cardiff at the start of the season, has only managed to appear in three games for the Bluebirds up to now, with his last appearance coming back in August.

The 30-year-old midfield man has now begun his road to recovery and started running, however his head coach, Russel Slade, says that he’s still quite a way off regaining his full fitness.

Speaking to Cardiff’s official website, Slade said, “Kagisho Dikgacoi is running now, but he needs a mini-pre-season, so if we can get him some games somewhere, or even in the Under-21s, that might be ideal. From his point of view, next season is the target.”

KG previously told the Siya crew that he is intent on getting back before the end of the season, however it remains to be seen whether he will achieve that goal or not.
