Amid fears of the deadly Coronavirus worldwide, a former Mamelodi Sundowns is back in China and training with his teammates at his club as per normal.
The lockdown in China – where the Coronavirus is believed to have started as widely reported – has officially ended this week as the country appears to have managed to contain the spread of the deadly outbreak.
Former Sundowns striker Nyasha Mushekwi returned to training with his teammates at his club Zhejiang Greentown.
“We started training, when I arrived I was in quarantine for 14 days but I have joined my teammates at training now. Everything is good. Life is almost back (to normal) in China so it’s quite a good thing. Everything else has been okay,” said Mushekwi, as quoted by Zimbabwean publication The Herald.
Zhejiang is the same club that South African striker Dino Ndlovu plies his trade.
