Erasmus Comes Off The Bench For Rennes
Kermit Erasmus came off the bench for French club Rennes as they beat Marseille 3-2 in a Ligue 1 encounter on Wednesday.
The former Orlando Pirates man replaced Gelson Fernandes in the 82nd minute with Rennes trailing 2-1. Kamil Grosicki netted a penalty to level matters four minutes later, before Adrien Hunou scored the winner.
Rennes moved up to eighth position with the victory and are now only four points adrift first-placed Nice, who lead PSG by a single point.
Ntuthuko Radebe made the starting lineup for Belgian side AS Eupen as the claimed a 3-2 win over SV Roeselare at Stadion Schiervelde. Fellow South African Phakamani Mngadi was on the bench for the visitors but joined his compatriot on the field in the 81st minute.
Bradley Ralani made the starting XI for Helsingborg as they recorded a 2-1 win over GIF Sundsvall in the Allsvenskan. Helsingborg still struggle near the bottom of the standings.
