Dino Ndlovu says that he’s happy to have scored in his first game for Hangzhou Greentown, but is hoping for more following his big-money move in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old striker joined Greentown from Qarabag in Azerbaijan earlier this year for what is believed to be a figure around R15m, and they have already started to see some return on their investment after he helped them to a win on the opening day of their season.
Greentown are hoping to earn promotion back into the top-flight this season and have gotten off to the best start possible, beating Nei Mongol Zhongyou 2-0 with a little bit of help from Ndlovu.
The Bafana Bafana international opened the scoring 57 minutes into his official debut and has told the Siya crew that he’s looking forward to helping the team even more.
Ndlovu said, “I’m really happy to have scored in my first league game on my debut, I’m happy for the goal, but what’s also important is that I broke any anxiety that there might have been, and now I feel more confident to do even better in the next games.

“I’m taking one game at the time, and it’s still early to really say what we want from the season. We have a young squad and most of the players who are here now didn’t play much last season. Only about 15% (of) our current squad played, and the rest is young boys that are coming through. It’s not going to be easy, but I believe we can do better than last year.”
Next up for Ndlovu’s side is Dalian Transcendence, as Greentown look for back-to-back league wins for the first time since August.
