Qarabag Accept R12m Offer For Bafana Striker
Dino Ndlovu's Move To China Could Be Drawing Closer
Dino Ndlovu looks to be edging closer to a big-money move to China next month, with his club, Qarabag, believed to have accepted an offer from Hangzhou Greentown.
The Siya crew reported recently that the Chinese outfit was willing to up their offer to around €750,000 in order to persuade Qarabag to sell their top scorer, and it appears that they have now gotten their way.
As reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, Greentown are thought to have tabled a two-year deal to the 27-year-old Bafana Bafana international, a deal that could potentially make him one of the highest-paid South African players in the world if the move materialises.
At this point, it remains to be seen whether Ndlovu is eager to make the move to China or not, although his contract in Azerbaijan does come to an end in just over six months’ time and China’s dollars may be too difficult to refuse.
Ndlovu has scored 24 goals for Qarabag since his arrival last year, and his exploits in Azerbaijan and in the UEFA Champions League have seen him attract interest from numerous countries around the world. CFR Cluj in Romania are also known to be keen on him.
