SA Striker Discovers Potential Champions League Opponents
Dino Ndlovu Knows His Potential Champions League Opponents
The South African striker, Dino Ndlovu, faces a trip to either Moldova or Albania in the UEFA Champions League if Qarabag FK can finish the job on Tuesday night.
Ndlovu bagged a brace for his side as they trounced Samtredia of Georgia 5-0 in Azerbaijan in the first leg of their tie, putting in a fine individual performance as his club put one foot in the third qualifying round.
Having landed in Georgia over the weekend, the 27-year-old will be hoping to add to his tally in the second leg as they look to secure a game against either Sheriff Tiraspol or Kukësi in the next round.
Moldovans, Tiraspol, are leading their Albanian opponents 1-0 from the first leg but will have a difficult game against a side that has not lost a home game in nearly a year.
Ndlovu has scored 17 goals for Qarabag since joining the club last year and should he keep up his goalscoring form, then Stuart Baxter may have no option but to consider him for the national team setup.
