It was confirmed on Thursday that Masango had signed a three-year deal with the Danish top-flight outfit, bringing to an end speculation about his future that has been ongoing for a number of months now.
Todd, a former England international, believes that the former Kaizer Chiefs winger will be a good signing for the Danes, specifically pointing towards the winger’s speed.
The ex-Sunderland, Derby County and Everton defender told the Danish media, “He (Masango) is a different type of offensive player to the ones that we already have. He has the ability to keep defenders busy with his speed and good control of the ball.
“Mandla gives our squad a new, exciting dimension, and I also believe that he will be interesting to follow for our supporters.”
It remains to be seen how long Masango will have to wait before being able to make his debut for the club as he awaits a Danish work permit, however he will no doubt be looking to get started as soon as possible.
