The Siya crew has been informed that at least two clubs abroad have shown an interest in signing free agent Dino Ndlovu, including his former club Qarabag FK.
This publication reported that Ndlovu parted ways with his Chinese second tier club Zhejiang Energy Greentown a few months ago, after he was unable to return to Asia due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The 31-year-old's contract with the club was due to expire at the end of June, but they parted ways amicably a few months before the completion of the deal that was initially signed by the player.
Ndlovu, who has previously played in Israel, Cyprus and Azerbaijan, has been at home since the start of the year and has been keeping fit, while waiting for his next move. He has been holding out for a move abroad as he wants to still play his football overseas and two clubs have shown an interest in signing him.
According to information received by the Siya crew, Turkish second tier club Kocaelispor have shown an interest in signing the player, with a high possibility of a deal for the 2021/22 campaign. The club has made contact with Ndlovu, but a final decision is yet to be made.
The player's former club Qarabag, who play in Azerbaijan, have also shown an interest in having him back. He was at the club between 2016 and 2017, playing in the UEFA Champions League, most notably against current champions of the competition, Chelsea.
The player is still weighing his options and a decision will be made in the coming weeks.
