Claasen And Serero Get Game Time

South African midfielder Thulani Serero played for 86 minutes in Ajax’s 1-0 win over PSV Eindoven at the Amsterdam Arena on Sunday. The South African put in another solid performance as Ajax stay top of the Dutch Eredivisie on goal difference, ahead of Vitesse Arnhem. The Bafana Bafana man was substituted for Christian Poulsen in the 86th minute after Icelandic striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson had given the home side the lead on the hour mark.

Daylon Claasen scored the only goal in Lech Poznań’s 1-0 friendly win over Lechia Gdańsk. The South African forward was on hand to break the deadlock in the final few minutes of the game when he scored in the 87th minute, and give his side a slender win in this club friendly.
