Cape Town City midfielder Ayanda Patosi, who spent the last season out on loan at Iran outfit Foolad FC, has sent out a clear message to the club regarding his future.
It is safe to say that it has been a quiet season for the 27-year-old, having made just nine appearances, scoring a solitary goal for the second placed Iranian outfit.
Now with his third successive loan move in the East expiring at the end of the campaign, Patosi, who is still a City player will be expected back at the Citizens for pre-season.
However, the former Lokeren man has sent a strong message to Cape Town City regarding his status as a ‘loan player’ via his Instagram page.
“(A) few more days before we finish the football season after a very difficult season with the pandemic. I had some good and some bad memories about the season but we move on and the next season I’ll come back 100%. I would like to let everybody know that I’m no longer interested in loans, I’m looking for a permanent deal so I can work and fight for the league with any team that God has (put out for me). Thank you so much to everybody who have been very supportive this season, you (are) all much appreciated.”
The Siya crew previously reported that Foolad are in negotiations with the Citizens to make his stay permanent, with the player believed to be keen on continuing his career abroad.
