It was confirmed by Rangers that the 28-year-old had completed a deadline day transfer from French side Amiens on October 5.
However, the former Mamelodi Sundowns man had to bide his time before being unveiled by Steven Gerrard’s team, after spending some time in quarantine, as per international Covid-19 regulations.
The Siya crew revealed that Zungu joined his teammates in training yesterday, as he prepares to make his Europa League debut for the club against Polish outfit, Lech Poznan on Thursday.
Taking to their official social media platforms Rangers paraded their new signing, much to the delight of South African supporters who flocked to the Rangers Twitter page.
Zungu will don the number 15 shirt for his new club and it is expected that he will play some part for Rangers in their fixture tomorrow.
Gerrard’s men got off to the perfect start in their Europa League campaign after seeing off Belgian outfit Standard Liege 2-0 in their opening encounter. They also sit six points clear of their closest rivals, Celtic in the Scottish Premier Division.
