Young South African forward, Lebo Mothiba, wasted no time making an impact at Lille OSC following his return from loan, scoring on his first game back for the club to help them earn a point.

Lille worked hard last month to eventually secure the striker’s return to the club from his loan spell with Valenciennes in Ligue 2, however, he made sure that they felt his presence straight away as scored the first equaliser against Nantes.
Mothiba became the first player to score in his first league game for Lille since Divock Origi did so back in 2013, and he will now be hoping for more in his quest to make sure that his side survives the drop and remain in the French top-flight.
The Bafana Bafana international rose highest from a corner to head home in the 67th minute, getting on the end of Thiago Mendes’ cross, however, it wasn’t the decisive goal in the game as both sides scored once more for it to end 2-2.
Stuart Baxter will have been watching with intent as he considers the future of Bafana Bafana, and the 22-year-old certainly meets the criteria given his goalscoring form, especially now that he's playing in one of the world's top-rated leagues.
