Zungu’s Safety Battle, Mothiba On The Brink In France

The French outfit won promotion from Ligue 2 last season before snapping up the Bafana Bafana international on the final day of the transfer window, and Zungu has become a key feature for the club in their battle to stay in the top flight.

Now, with three games left to go, Amiens are nine points clear of the relegation play-offs and are all but safe. The same, however, cannot be said for Lebo Mothiba at Lille, with the former champions fighting for their lives.
Mothiba has played an important role for Lille since they cut short his loan with Valenciennes, scoring three goals, and their victory over Metz last weekend put them within touching distance of being safe.
Lille are two points away from climbing out of the relegation zone, and face fellow strugglers, Toulouse, in one of their biggest games of the season on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, further up the table, Keagan Dolly’s Montpellier and Lebo Phiri’s EA Guingamp have nothing but pride left to fight for in their final three games, with neither a European spot nor relegation possible for either team.
Do you think Mothiba can help Lille escape the drop?
