Bongani Zungu has finalised his move to French Ligue 1 outfit, Amiens SC, signing a long-term deal at the club.
The Siya crew reported earlier today that the 24-year-old was on the verge of joining the French outfit after they had an offer worth around €2.5m accepted by Vitoria de Guimaraes, and it has now been confirmed that the move has been completed.
Steve Kapeluschnik, Zungu's agent, spoke of his happiness at getting the deal over the line just before the window closed, telling the Siya crew, "It’s been a hard deal to put together. He’s in Cape Verde, we’ve had guys in France and Portugal, and I’m in South Africa.
"We worked really hard to make sure that we got it over the line in time, and we're all very excited about the next chapter in Bongani's career as he makes the move to France."
Zungu has signed a four-year deal with Amiens and will join his new team after the international break.
