Zungu’s R95m Price Tag Revealed Amid Euro Interest

Bafana's Bongani Zungu Could Leave Amiens This Window

By Soccer Laduma - Jun 20, 2018 01:34 PM

Bongani Zungu had an impressive debut season in France with Amiens, and the Siya crew has been informed of the price tag they’ve put on his head.

The 25-year-old midfield man played 26 games for the French club during his first campaign in Ligue 1, putting in a number of stellar performances as he played his role in helping them secure their place in the top flight for next season.

Zungu has been consistently attracting interest from other clubs over the past couple of seasons since bursting onto the scene with Vitoria de Guimaraes in Portugal, with Torino even making a sneaky attempt to snap him up back in January.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder was unable to move then because of the fact that he had already played for two clubs in one season, though that FIFA rule is now no longer an issue for him.

According to Siya sources, Amiens are open to the idea of selling the Bafana Bafana international in the upcoming window, but only if the price is right and any potential suitors are prepared to meet the valuation of their star.

The Siya crew have been informed that Amiens want around €6,000,000 (around R95m) for Zungu’s signature if they’re to even consider selling him.

It's okay for a European/white man/team to get more money while a black/African team gets next to nothing. Africa has confined themselves slavery. European teams are making easy money out African sweat. We're still confined in slavery and we've ourselves to blame. It's quite surprising that there are still people who still believe that an African/black man doesn't need money and can't compete with white man. The comments here, when you compare them to what those of Tau's case prove me right. According to people, Tau can go to an European team on a slavery price, and when the European team sell him charging 40 times more than what Sundowns have received

I wonder why it's considered righteous for Zungu price tag while it isn't with Tau.

You smile for Zungu price tag but cry for Tau's price. So it's okay for a white man to have money while it's unacceptable for a black man to make money. Blacks are still consumed by self-hatred.

I don't zebras, they give a standing ovation for Zungu price tag, cry foul for Tau price tag. Is this because of jeolousy towards Sundowns because they will make money. Witchcraft to with jeolousy is consuming people. They feel pain for their neighbours success

Why Zebras are crying when Downs charge big money for Tau?. Is it because of jealousy as Sundowns will be making money

At one stage his former coach said the boy is still young he will never make in Europe, he must stay for another season or two in PSL. How can then under 23 player be young to play abroad and when he reaches 30 years he is too old
