Bongani Zungu had an impressive debut season in France with Amiens, and the Siya crew has been informed of the price tag they’ve put on his head.
The 25-year-old midfield man played 26 games for the French club during his first campaign in Ligue 1, putting in a number of stellar performances as he played his role in helping them secure their place in the top flight for next season.
Zungu has been consistently attracting interest from other clubs over the past couple of seasons since bursting onto the scene with Vitoria de Guimaraes in Portugal, with Torino even making a sneaky attempt to snap him up back in January.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder was unable to move then because of the fact that he had already played for two clubs in one season, though that FIFA rule is now no longer an issue for him.
According to Siya sources, Amiens are open to the idea of selling the Bafana Bafana international in the upcoming window, but only if the price is right and any potential suitors are prepared to meet the valuation of their star.
The Siya crew have been informed that Amiens want around €6,000,000 (around R95m) for Zungu’s signature if they’re to even consider selling him.
