The 22-year-old already has two goals and one assist to his name from nine appearances, and it was previously reported that his club were hoping to offer him an extension of his current deal.
At present the Bafana Bafana international will see his contract expire at the end of the current season, however, they do have an option to extend for a further year at the end of it.
According to Siya sources though, Lokeren are hoping to extend the South African’s stay until the end of the 2017/18 campaign, as well as give him both an increase on his package and signing-on fee.
The crew is led to believe that just the finer details need to be finalised, and that his future will be settled at some stage next month.
