Having won his first two matches in charge of the Red Devils, all eyes were on Mosimane as he took on a stubborn Pyramids side looking to secure second place in the Egyptian Premier League.
For the first time since his appointment, 'Jingles' had his full technical team with him after assistant Cavin Johnson flew to Egypt last week, following a slight delay in his arrival.
Pitso was forced to make changes to his injury-stricken squad with last week’s two-goal hero Marwan Mohsen relegated to the bench, as the 56-year-old starts planning for next week’s CAF Champions League semi-final against Wydad Casablanca.
While they controlled majority of the match, Al Ahly were left frustrated, and their misery was compounded when they were reduced to 10 men after Amr Soleya received his marching orders.
Slightly thereafter, Kafsha missed a glorious chance to grab the lead for Mosimane’s side from the penalty spot, however, he saw his spot kick saved by the Pyramids keeper.

In the end Mosimane and his charges had to settle for a point, but the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach will be sweating on the fitness of his regular starters with the Wydad clash now just five days away.
