The Telkom Knockout final between Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic takes place on 2 December. The Students will be looking to redeem themselves and salvage their lacklustre start to the 2017/18 season, while on the other hand, Siwelele will be hoping to add silverware to their cabinet. Soccer Laduma took to the streets to hear what the supporters had to say ahead of the title decider.
Masilo Machaka – Kaizer Chiefs supporter
“It’s going to be a fair encounter, and the supporters must come out to support both teams, just to give the players moral support. I hope that the players will make this an interesting game to watch because nobody expected to see Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic in the final of this competition.”
Botha Msila – Bloemfontein Celtic supporter
“For the team to reach the final of the Telkom Knockout, it says to us we have a team that can compete. I’m very happy for the club. Good luck to coach Veselin Jelusic and the boys. We will be there with them all the way.”
Mpho Ramahlo – Bidvest Wits supporter
“This one is ours. We can’t work so hard and let it slide in the last moments. To Bloemfontein Celtic, I would like to apologise now before the game. At least your name will be in the history books. To those who engrave names on trophies, they can start writing Bidvest Wits’ name in the Telkom Knockout trophy.”
The final of the TKO Challenge will take place at Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban at 18h00.
