An update has been given on the Zambian starlet linked with Orlando Pirates in this transfer window.
The Buccaneers, who already have the Zambian duo of Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga on their books, have been linked with Austin Muwowo, who is also from Zambia and has been doing well in his career in recent months.

The player has been strongly linked with the Soweto giants, however, his agent Nawa Nyambe has refuted social media reports suggesting that the winger might have already agreed to a deal with the PSL giants, according to Zambian website ZamFoot.
The 24-year-old is on loan at Forest Rangers from Nkana FC, the two clubs that Pirates played against during their pre-season camp in Zambia in July last year.

“Contrary to reports, Austin is here with me in Ndola. Neither him nor me has flown to South Africa. Orlando Pirates may have shown in interest in him just like 10 other Clubs have done. But he has seven months remaining on his contract with Nkana. So for now we will have to wait for the league to end and probably even the COSAFA Championship then evaluate the best possible move. His sole concentration at the moment is Forest Rangers,” Nawa has been quoted by ZamFoot.
Muwowo is said to have scored 10 goals amassed eight assists, according to reports in Zambia, while playing under former Pirates midfielder Perry Mutapa at Rangers this season.
