Orlando Pirates announced the departure of five players, and the Siya crew has been led to believe that the Soweto giants are not yet done as they look to offload more players.
With Kwanda Mngonyama, Abel Mabaso, Justice Chabalala, Elson Sithole, Wayne Sandilands and Thabang Monare parting ways with the club, Pirates also confirmed the arrival of Evidence Makgopa, Bienvenu Eva Nga, Miguel Timm, and Azola Matrose.
One player that could also follow Monare and co. is Zimbabwe international Terrence Dzvukamanja as per the information received by the Siya crew.
As reported in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, Pirates are said to be reviewing Dzvukamanja’s contribution to the team.
The 28-year-old joined Pirates from Bidvest Wits back in 2020, and his performance over the last two years in Bucs colours has left much to be desired, as he only managed to score four goals with one assist in 57 matches across all competitions.
And with only five slots allocated for foreigners per club in the PSL, Dzvukamanja could be the player Pirates release as they look to add more foreigners, with Ghanaian midfielder Joseph Amoah linked with the club. Nigerian young attackers Daniel Dioh and Jesse Francis are also some of the players that have been linked to Pirates.
As predicted by the Siya crew, Nga and Matrose formed part of Pirates' shopping list for the July/August transfer window:
