Emery Mvuyekure, 27, is apparently set for trials at the Buccaneers with the hope of joining the Soweto giants as a free agent.

Reports in Rwanda, his native country, have suggested his contract with Kenyan outfit Tusker FC will be coming to an end soon and he is looking for a fresh start and is eager for it to be in the Premier Soccer League.
Siya sources at Pirates have denied any knowledge of interest in Mvuyekure, especially because he is not the only goalie on their radar.
It’s the worst kept secret now that the Buccaneers are keen on Richard Ofori from Maritzburg United and in this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma it was reported that they are likely to also renew their interest in Brandon Peterson.
With Bidvest Wits expected to be sold and currently accepting offers for some of their big names like captain Thulani Hlatshwayo, Deon Hotto, Hashim Domingo and Thabang Monare, shot-stopper Petersen could be next.
The Siya crew will keep close tabs on these developments, but what is clear is that Pirates are expected to pull out all the stops to land a new goalkeeper for next season with one of Wayne Sandilands, Joris Delle and Siyabonga Mpontshane making way.
