With reports over the club’s potential sale hogging all the headlines, a host of players could be heading for the exit door at Bloemfontein Celtic, including an on-loan Orlando Pirates player.
On-loan Pirates defender Justice Chabalala, who joined the club for the second half of the season on loan in January, has done well under coach Lehlohonolo Seema and contributed positively to the team reaching the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
Celtic have revealed in the media, their intention to retain his services beyond his loan spell, however his handlers have confirmed to the Siya crew that the Giyani-born player will be returning to the Soweto giants at the end of the current season.
He is not the only Celtic player who could be on his way out. As previously reported by the Siya crew, Ryan De Jongh will be leaving the Mangaung outfit at the end of the season after the club failed to exercise the option on his deal.
The player’s management confirmed that the 30-year-old will be free to sign a contract with a team of his choice for the new season.
Lucky Baloyi is another star whose contract is up at the end of the season, although Celtic are expected to extend his stay beyond his current deal.
His agent Jazzman Mahlakgane revealed to the Siya crew that all talks with the club are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
