Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has discussed the team’s chances in the upcoming match against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The veteran defender is expected to add to his 20 starts so far this season to lead the Buccaneers against the Brazilians at Dobsonville Stadium in the first league match after the PSL break.
“Just to come back and train with the guys again is very good. We are motivated. Each and every one want us to come back and play the game. For us it’s very important to start now with the win,” said Jele, speaking on Pirates’ video on the club’s official Twitter account.
“The mood is very good since we came back from lockdown, I think everyone is motivated (and) is excited to play the game. And obviously we’ve been training very well, the technical team prepared us very well and I think we are ready for this coming game and we want to do our best and enjoy the game. We want to go there and work hard and get some results for the team,” the 33-year-old centre-back added.
