A former Orlando Pirates player has slammed the team in discussing their winless run since the re-start of the season.
As they prepare for their 28th match of the season, which will be against SuperSport United on Saturday, Bucs are still in search of their first win after four matches.
The Buccaneers have drawn three matches and lost one – scoring only one goal in the process in what will be another season without a trophy for them.
Former Pirates midfielder, Hleza Mofedi, believes that the long break in the league which was caused by the Coronavirus has affected the team’s rhythm.
“Look, I said it before that teams would struggle to get their form. All the teams are rusty and unfit, including Pirates. Look at Pirates when they are playing, they are playing but not scoring because they lose position too much in the final third. Their build up is okay but their match fitness is not there. They are struggling to get the winning combination. The problem is that they are unfit,” said Mofedi.
