News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates have welcomed a new face at their training.
Ghanaian international goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been out for over two months, and the Buccaneers faced a goalkeeping crisis after third-choice keeper Siyabonga Mpontshane also picked up an injury during a match three weeks ago.
In recent matches, Pirates had been forced to promote young goalkeeper Elson Sithole from their DStv Diski Challenge side as deputy for Wayne Sandilands.
As reported by the Siya crew, Bucs have had their sights on former Black Leopards goalkeeper King Ndlovu, who recently parted ways with the Limpopo outfit.
As confirmed to the Siya crew by sources in the know, the Soweto giants are keen to offer Ndlovu a deal after he had his contract with Lidoda Duvha terminated.
However, sources have indicated that the 28-year-old shot-stopper has started training with Pirates, and is being assessed by the club, with a decision expected to be made in the coming weeks.
