Orlando Pirates are set to announce the exit of one of the players in their team as the club is finalising the squad for the new season.
After struggling for game time in the two seasons that he has been at the club, Zambian winger Austin Muwowo is set to be loaned for the 2021/22 season.
As confirmed by a source close to the club, a loan deal has been agreed to with Swallows for the 24-year-old to allow him a chance to revive his career and to replicate the performances that made him the Player of the Season in Zambia in 2019.
“Austin Muwowo is leaving Pirates on loan. The club is working on the final loan agreement and the deal will be done. The boy is going to Swallows. He will be joining the club on a season-long loan deal. The club will probably confirm the deal before the end of this week,” confirmed the source.
