The defender has been one of the standout players, although the Gqeberha-based outfit has had a difficult season due to inconsistent results.

However, with the Buccaneers having plans of their own for the 25-year-old, any potential permanent switch is being ruled out at this stage, according to sources in the know.
Just like Justice Chabalala, who has spent the last few seasons on loan at other clubs, Mthethwa is seen as a future first-choice centre-back for the Soweto giants who would take over from the likes of club captain Happy Jele when he finally retires, as well as Olisa Ndah if the Nigerian succeeds in his wish to move abroad in the near future.
