A message of appreciation has been sent by Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands to the club’s supporters, following the team’s victory over Polokwane City on Tuesday night.
The Buccaneers claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win against Rise and Shine at the Orlando Stadium to move from 9th place on the Absa Premiership log table to 7th with only two matches remaining for the year.
Sandilands, who was in goals for his 9th League start of the season, lauded the supporters for backing the team.
“+3 points (and 3 goals). Thanks to all the supporters who came out last night, we appreciate you. Have a blessed day,,” the experienced goalkeeper tweeted.
Next up, Bucs will travel to Limpopo to face off against Baroka FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 07.
