Orlando Pirates have three stars who could be at risk of missing the team’s first match in this year’s Nedbank Cup.
The three stars, who played in the 1-0 win over AmaZulu on the weekend, are Ben Motshwari, Fortune Makaringe and Paseka Mako.
Motshwari and Makaringe played the full match, while Mako came off the bench during the second half in coach Josef Zinnbauer’s team.
The trio are each on three yellow cards, and should they pick up another caution against Chippa United in Bucs’ next league match, they will miss the Nedbank Cup Last 32 fixture.
The Buccaneers have been drawn to play against Bidvest Wits on February 09 in the prestigious competition.
Meanwhile, Pirates will have Ntsikelelo Nyauza and Abel Mabaso available for selection for the next match after they missed the AmaZulu clash, owing to suspension for accumulation of yellow cards.
