Orlando Pirates star Vincent Pule has spoken about his inclusion in the Bafana Bafana squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Pule is one of the players that have been outstanding for the Buccaneers since the start of the 2020/21 season, having helped the team to reach the final of the MTN8 after defeating arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs 5-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

Pule says he is overwhelmed about being part of coach Molefi Ntseki's team that is preparing for back-to-back qualifiers against Sao Tome on Friday and Monday respectively.
“I’m excited to be called up for the national team, it’s always been great to be here with the other guys. And like I said, I’m excited and it’s overwhelming,” said Pule, speaking to the media in Durban ahead of the clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

“I struggled a bit with injuries, but I kept going, I told myself that I’m not going to stop because of minor injuries. To be here again, like I said I’m excited and I’m happy to be with the other guys. I’m happy to play with the overseas-based guys and for me I’m just here to add an impact to the team, hopefully maybe I get a chance to play,” Pule added.
