Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch is making progress in his recovery from injury although he is not yet ready for a return.
Last week, Pirates revealed that the Bafana Bafana international would face up to five weeks on the sidelines after undergoing a procedure on his knee for the injury he sustained in the DStv Premiership match against Bloemfontein Celtic.
Having already missed two matches against Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8, as well as last weekend’s DStv Premiership clash against SuperSport United, Pirates confirmed that the 27-year-old is recovering well.
According to the club, the team is underway with preparations for Saturday’s match against Baroka FC, and Lorch continues to undergo rehabilitation with the physiotherapists.
Josef Zinnbauer and the team have been boosted with the return of Gabadinho Mhango to training, after recovering from injury.
