Orlando Pirates star midfielder Ben Motshwari has been applauded for his progress and contribution to the Soweto giants.
Motshwari has been one of the consistent players for the Buccaneers and a top performer, with the central midfielder having missed only one match in the Absa Premiership since the arrival of the club’s head coach Josef Zinnbauer in December, due to injury.
Former Pirates midfielder Solomon Mathe has been following the 28-year-old player’s progress, and has come to this conclusion about his performances:
“Ben Motshwari is the player that has impressed me the most at Pirates. Ben is a hard worker and works tirelessly on the field. He is aggressive and can also play when the team is attacking like he does when they defend,” Mathe told the Siya crew.
“He is a good box-to-box player. He is a complete player. I tell him that a lot about this, and he knows. From time to time I send him WhatsApp messages to encourage him to keep going,” said Mathe.
