Orlando Pirates have provided their latest injury update ahead of the trip to Maritzburg United in their next DStv Premiership match this weekend.
After missing the last five matches owing to an injury, Zakhele Lepasa is still unavailable for selection for the Buccaneers, as confirmed by the club’s head coach Joseph Zinnbauer.
Furthermore, the German mentor has confirmed that striker Tshegofatso Mabasa and defender Abel Mabaso are also not yet available for selection.
The mentor has also confirmed that there are doubts about Malawian forward Gabadinho Mhango after he picked a knock in the midweek fixture against Golden Arrows.
“It’s a muscle problem, we have to wait now but I think it’s not possible (for him to play) tomorrow (Saturday) but Tuesday maybe it’s possible (against TS Galaxy), I hope so,” said Zinnbauer in his update about Mhango, speaking through Pirates’ media department.
“The other players, Lepasa, Mabasa and Mabaso is out, but they have been long time injured. The other players are available,” the coach said.
Meanwhile, Pirates have provided the details of all the injured players on their official website, while also confirming Paseka Mako’s unavailability for the clash against the Team of Choice.
