An Orlando Pirates new signing has been unveiled at Swallows FC after completing a loan move from the Soweto giants.
As predicted by the Siya crew, Pirates' new signing Monnapule Saleng was expected to join Swallows on loan for the 2021/22 season, with the 23-year-old having since been confirmed as the Dube Birds' latest acquisition.
Saleng is one of the four players who were unveiled at Pirates three weeks ago along with Goodman Mosele, Bandile Shandu and Kwanda Mngonyama.
The speedy winger starred for Bafana Bafana under Morena Ramoreboli during the recent COSAFA Cup which was won by the South African national team in the Eastern Cape.
Last season, the talented player scored 13 goals for Free State Stars and finished as the top goalscorer in the GladAfrica Championship.
Saleng has officially been welcomed at his new home by Swallows’ Panyaza Lesufi and club chairman David Mogashoa.
