An Orlando Pirates star has spoken about what the team will need to do going forward, after finishing their season on a high with three successive wins.
Following another Man of the Match performance, Siphesihle Ndlovu is grateful for getting regular game-time under Josef Zinnbauer after he struggled earlier in the season, and was influential in helping the Buccaneers to a crucial victory against against Stellenbosch FC.
“I’m very happy and I’m very excited to get back-to-back Man of the Match. It shows that the consistency is coming back and I’m very grateful that I’m back playing for the team,” said Ndlovu, speaking through Pirates’ media department.
Ndlovu had been Man of the Match in the previous match as well, against his former club Maritzburg United.
“For us as a team we need to work extra hard and we need to be committed. We need to stay strong, we need to stay together and continue as a team,” the 23-year-old Pietermaritzburg-born player added.
