Orlando Pirates have provided an update on veteran defender and team captain Happy Jele ahead of Tuesday’s match.
Following their 1-1 draw with Royal AM last Thursday, the Buccaneers will once again be at home against Sekhukhune United this afternoon as they look to get their third win of the season and hope to move up the DStv Premiership log.

However, the sad news for coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids is that the team is likely to be without Jele who picked up an injury against Royal AM.
As confirmed by the club, Thulani Hlatshwayo could be set to make a return to the line-up and play alongside Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah who has been impressive so far this season.
Another option for Bucs would be former Maritzburg United defender Kwanda Mngonyama who is said to have done well in training.
“The Buccaneers are likely to be without Captain Happy Jele, who limped off early in the second half during last week’s 1-1 draw at home to Royal AM,” confirmed Pirates on the club’s official website.

“This means that the experienced Thulani Hlatshwayo could partner Olisa Ndah in the middle of the defence, with the likes of Kwanda Mngonyama also within a shot of featuring in the matchday squad,” confirmed the Soweto giants.
