The Siya crew has been informed that Orlando Pirates have identified a centre-forward to bolster their squad for the new 2020/21 season and a deal to bring him on board could be imminent at this point.
Pirates, who ended third on the Absa Premiership standings in the 2019/20 campaign, are already underway with making the necessary changes and additions to Josef Zinnbauer’s squad, having so far added Thulani Hlatshwayo, Deon Hotto and Collins Makgaka to their books.
However, they are not done yet.
The latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Pirates are looking to secure the signing of Terrence Dzvukamanja from Bidvest Wits (whose top-flight status has since been sold to Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila) and according to sources in the know, a deal to land his services could be imminent at this point.
While the Bucs have been linked with several other players in the top flight, indications are that they are prioritising bolstering their attacking department.
Now, according to sources, Dzvukamanja could be headed to the Soweto side in the coming days.
The 26-year-old Zimbabwean joined Wits from Ngezi Platinum FC in 2018, where he went on to make 52 domestic appearances, scoring 14 goals in all competitions since then.
