According to Siya sources in the know, Orlando Pirates have made enquiries in to the services of another Bidvest Wits star.
It’s been widely reported that Pirates are after the services of both Deon Hotto and Thulani Hlatshwayo, with Wits on the verge of selling their top flight status.

Although, the aforementioned players are also being heavily linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns, who have already tabled a R17 million offer to Wits, for a jumbo deal which also includes Haashim Domingo.
However, while Pirates are showing keen interest in the services of Hotto and Hlatshwayo, the Siya crew has learnt that the Buccaneers have also made enquiries in to Thabang Monare.
Indications are that Wits are keen to cash in on the 30-year-old midfielder, before the club is sold and as recently reported by the Siya crew, Monare’s name was thrown in to the mix as another potential addition to the Sundowns and Wits deal.
however, as things stand, Pirates are the one who have made the latest enquiries in to the availability of Monare, with Siya sources revealing that SuperSport United are also still showing interest in the 30-year-old.

Though, it remains to be seen whether the Bucs will look to pursue the midfielder further, while also looking to snap up both Tyson and Hotto.
Should Pirates add Monare to their squad, he will join a department of some top midfielders in Mzansi which includes Fortune Makaringe and a former teammate, Ben Motshwari.
However, despite some deals and transfer discussions progressing further each day, indications are that a player can only officially make the move away once the 2019/20 season comes to an end and as things stand, the league is yet to receive communication about the way forward during the COVID-19 pandemic.
