An Orlando Pirates development product is closing in on a deal with a new club for the upcoming season, the Siya crew as learnt.
After leaving for Botswana Premier League club Gilport Lions in 2019, following his unsuccessful attempt in getting promoted to the first team at Pirates, Lebogang Sentsho has returned to Mzansi to further his career for the 2021/22 season.
The 25-year-old midfielder has surfaced at Black Leopards where he is expected to secure a contract as the Limpopo outfit will be beefing up the squad in an attempt to assemble a strong team to compete for a return to the top-flight in the new season.
Sentsho came through the development ranks at the Buccaneers and played for the club’s MultiChoice (now known as DStv) Diski Challenge team before he was loaned to Richards Bay FC in the second tier in 2017.
Ace, as the Meadowlands-born player is known in football circles, previously also played for Royal Eagles in the GladAfrica Championship before he signed in Botswana.
