Bloemfontein Celtic could look at Orlando Pirates to assist them as they will be looking to bolster the squad with experienced players.
Following their exploits of the 2019/20 season which saw them playing in the Nedbank Cup final, although they lost 1-0 against Mamelodi Sundowns last Saturday, Celtic have qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup.
According to sources, Pirates defender Alfred Ndengane is one of the players that could be considered for a move to Celtic, as reported in edition 1191 of Soccer Laduma.
Ndengane, 33, has struggled for game-time this past season, having made only five starts in the league, and acording to sources, Siwelele will be making attempts to bring the player back as the club will be looking to build from the remarkable progress they experienced this past season.
It is expected that Celtic will look to negotiate for a permanent move, though a loan deal could be an option for the 33-year-old, should Bucs decide to keep him on their books for one more season.
With Celtic’s experienced defender Wandisile Letlabika facing an uncertain future with the club as his contract has come to an end, and with Justice Chabalala set to return to Pirates after his loan deal expired, the Mangaung club has identified a need to strengthen the team’s defence with experience, with Ndengane believed to be one of the players considered.
