Following the arrival of Thulani Hlatshwayo and Deon Hotto at Orlando Pirates, there has been a lot of excitement from the club’s supporters who would like to see the team improve in its results in the new season.

The Buccaneers confirmed on Monday afternoon that the Bafana Bafana defender and captain, as well as the Namibian international have been signed from Bidvest Wits on long-term deals.
In picking up a strong team next season, Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer will have the choice of lining up Hlatshwayo alongside team captain Happy Jele in the centre of defence, with Hotto likely to play next to his former Wits teammate Gabadinho Mhango up front, among other stars at his disposal.
Hlatshwayo is expected to fight it out with Ntsikelelo Nyauza and Alfred Ndengane, among other players for a position in the team’s central defence.
