Reports coming out of Portugal have suggested that a Ghanaian midfielder is set to leave Portuguese outfit Vitória de Guimarães to join Orlando Pirates.
The Soweto giants have already confirmed the signings of defenders Nkosinathi Sibisi and Tapelo Xoki and it appears they will now be adding to the attack by bringing in Joseph Amoah, who is believed to be heading out at the club.
According to the Trasnfer Journal, the player has in fact travelled to South Africa and is expected to complete a move on a free transfer.
According to Tranfermarkrt, Amoah's contract with Vitória was due to expire in June 2023, but reports have since revealed that he has terminated his contract with the club.
Pirates have been busy in the market, trying to bolster their squad to ensure they challenge for the DSTV Premiership title they last won in the 2010/11.
The Buccaneers have since confirmed the signings of Nkosinathi Sibisi, Tapelo Xoki, Eva Nga, Miguel Timm, Azola Matrose and Evidence Makgopa. More players could join the team before the close of the transfer windpw in August.
