Orlando Pirates assistant coach Fadlu Davids has opened up about the team’s preparations for match against SuperSport United.
Having beaten SuperSport when they last met in their second-round league match last season in August, Pirates will want to maintain consistency against the side that has given them problems in their matches in recent seasons.
“The break was good in the sense that we could work on certain things but also knowing that our internationals were gone, nine players away two players injured, not having the full squad to prepare, but also giving a chance for players who have played many games to deload and refresh and get ready for the next step,” said Davids, speaking through Pirates’ media department.
“When facing a club like SuperSport we know that it always brings goals, always brings a game what is tactically prepared in all details. So, we have to be prepared for SuperSport’s aggressivity in defence and in attack,” the coach added.
