Orlando Pirates assistant coach, Fadlu Davids, has revealed how the team is planning to approach the MTN8 second leg semi-final match against Kaizer Chiefs.
Pirates put themselves in an advantage to proceed to the next stage in the competition after beating their arch-rivals 3-0 at the Orlando Stadium in the first leg fixture last weekend.

With the team set to visit Amakhosi at FNB Stadium on Sunday for the return fixture, Davids says Bucs are not planning to defend their 3-0 lead.
“There’s been record Champions League finals where teams were 3-0 down and they come back in 45 minutes to win the game. We’re definitely not going into the game complacent knowing that we do not have 45 minutes, if it is 45 minutes to defend, we are not going to defend. It’s not 45 minutes it’s 90 minutes and anything can happen,” said Davids, speaking to the media in a pre-match press conference.

“We know the game against Chiefs we could have easily been 2-0 down, that’s clear. Then you’ve got a different game on your hand. Definitely, we’re going to the match as a half time with the score 0-0 and trying to win the match,” the coach added.
