The Siya crew has been informed by a reliable source that Orlando Pirates are close to bringing on board a goalkeeper that they’ve been targeting for several months.
It’s been widely reported by the Siya crew over the past year that the Bucs have been targeting Richard Ofori from Maritzburg United, eager to add him to their goalkeeping department.
After securing the services of Thulani Hlatshwayo, whom they’ve also been pursuing for a long time, Siya sources have informed the crew that Pirates are close to finally landing Ofori.
The source added that all that is left to do is for the parties involved to agree on some intricate details, with indications that if all goes well, the goalkeeper will be unveiled in the Buccaneers’ colours in the coming days.
Talks and negotiations will continue to take place behind the scenes, though the Bucs will be eager to wrap things up before the 2020/21 campaign gets underway on October 17.
