Bidvest Wits attacker and Namibian international Deon Hotto is supported back home with news of a possible move to Orlando Pirates.
The Siya crew reported that Pirates could look to land the services of the 29-year-old, after it initially looked like Mamelodi Sundowns were in pole position for his signature.
Former Sundowns and Namibian international goalkeeper Ronnie Kanalelo has weighed in on the transfer talk about his countryman.
“It would be a good move for him to Pirates. If you look at his stats, he has actually done well in terms of the amount of assists and the crucial goals he has been scoring. Where else can he go?” Kanalelo asked.
“I think he started with Golden Arrows, went to (Bloemfontein) Celtic and is now at Wits, but Wits are being sold. So, he can only go upwards. At the moment he is one of the valuable players in the PSL,” he said.
