An on-loan defender’s absence from some matches this season has been explained, while his future with his parent club Orlando Pirates is expected to be discussed soon.
Before returning to make the matchday squad in Sekhukhune United’s most recent match against Golden Arrows, Justice Chabalala has been a notable absentee from the team in the earlier fixtures under MacDonald Makhubedu and his technical team.
The Siya crew has learnt that the Giyani-born centre-back had been disrupted in his progress due to a toe injury, which prevented him from kicking a ball.
“Justice Chabalala has had a toe injury which delayed him on his progress but is now back, as you might have seen that he was on the bench against Golden Arrows, and he is working hard to get some game-time in the remaining matches of the season,” said the source.
“The player will be going back to Pirates at the end of the season to hear what the club’s plans are for him, as he is currently on loan at Sekhukhune,” the source added.
